NextGen raised garden beds are made from durable concrete. The exterior is carefully finished to resemble natural wood or stone, while providing the strength, longevity and low maintenance of concrete.
No. Although the Wood Look finish closely resembles natural wood, every plank is made from concrete. You get the warmth and appearance of wood without worrying about rotting, warping, greying or regular replacement.
Traditional wood is continuously exposed to moisture, soil and changing weather. Over time, it will fade, grey, warp or rot. NextGen concrete planks provide a durable, low-maintenance alternative for homeowners who do not want to repeatedly repair or replace their garden bed.
Our modular planks can be arranged into rectangles, squares, L-shapes and other layouts using 90-degree angles. You can select an existing design or send us your measurements and photographs so we can recommend a design for your space.

Each plank is approximately 12 inches high. Finished dimensions are created using combinations of these modular lengths.
No. The concrete planks cannot be cut or shortened. Each side must be created using approximately 20-inch or 40-inch modules. We will help you choose the closest practical dimensions for your available space.

NextGen raised garden beds are available in Wood Look and Stone Look finishes. The decorative texture appears on the visible exterior surfaces, while the inside walls remain natural concrete.
No. Each garden bed should use one consistent finish. If you order multiple separate garden beds, you may select a different finish for each bed.
No. NextGen garden beds are designed for straightforward assembly. There is no cutting, drilling or specialized construction required.
The planks are positioned to create your selected design. The included metal rods slide through the openings at the corners and connection points to secure the structure. Silicone and finishing plugs are then applied.

The selected area should be clear, firm, accessible and level. Please let us know about fences, gates, stairs, trees, walls or other obstacles near the proposed location. If you are uncertain about the area, send us photographs before ordering.
Because concrete is heavy, two people should be available to lift and position the planks safely. Delivery and professional installation are also available.
The total price depends on the outside dimensions, height, finish, number of planks, delivery distance and whether professional installation is selected.

Delivery is calculated according to the distance from our Inwood, New York pickup location to the project address. Provide your complete delivery address when requesting a quote so we can calculate the appropriate cost.
Curbside delivery brings the materials to an accessible location at the property. It does not include carrying the planks into the yard, preparing the site or assembling the garden bed. Select Premium service if you need delivery and professional installation.
Professional installation includes delivery and assembly of the approved garden bed design on a properly prepared, level and accessible surface. Any unusual access conditions or additional site requirements should be discussed before installation.
We do not recommend enclosing an existing tree inside a raised garden bed. Tree roots and future growth can interfere with the structure, drainage and health of the tree. We can help design the garden bed at an appropriate distance from existing trees.
